GALACTIC MAN - 1992

Galactic Man...round two! 

In 1992 Radio Shack released it's second version of toy called Galactic Man (v2). The first version (v1) was released in 1984 and was a gray transformer type figure. Radio Shack licensed the (v1) mold from Intecs LTD out of Korea. (See below for more information). This newer 1992 version is a clear knock off / bootleg of Robocop. The Robocop version of Galactic Man was produced for Radio Shack by Soma International LTD out of Hong Kong China. Soma previously sold this exact mold in 1990 under their private line called 'Sonic Man'. As such, the leftover stamping on Galactic Man says 1990, however, it wasn't actually released until 1992.
